Radiology Junior Sister/Charge Nurse

Our leading Specialist Radiology Department is looking for enthusiastic and capable Staff Nurses to be a part of our highly specialised team. We use the latest interventional radiology techniques and minimally invasive procedures to provide the safest and most effective patient care. Our department is busy and part of the one of the most comprehensive imaging departments in London and all of our staff work closely together to continually provide a high standard of patient care.We offer you the opportunity to work within different clinical areas such as Interventional Radiology Theatre, Recovery suite, CT, Ultrasound. The role of the interventional radiology nurse will include scrubbing and circulating during procedures as well as safely sedating patients undergoing interventional procedures. Rotation into the Recovery area will afford opportunities to expand your knowledge in caring for patients post anaesthetics and sedation. The Junior Sister/Charge Nurse has delegated responsibility for the management of the clinical areas including assessment of care needs, the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care and the setting of standards on a shift basis and in the authorised absence of the Senior Sister/Charge Nurse.
