The Healthcare Assistant will:
Westcliffe Health Innovations was established in 2014 at Eccleshill Treatment Centre, delivering consultant-led endoscopy services to NHS patients in Yorkshire.
Clinical Responsibilities Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team Carry out delegated clinical tasks following training and competency assessment Support patient care including hygiene, nutrition, and mobility Assist with specimen collection, labelling, and dispatch Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation Governance and Safety Work within clinical governance frameworks Participate in audits and quality improvement initiatives Adhere to safeguarding policies and report concerns appropriately Maintain awareness of risk management and patient safety Education and Development Participate in appraisals and continuous professional development Maintain mandatory and statutory training compliance Develop clinical skills such as phlebotomy and ECG recording (where required) Support new staff, students, and learners General Responsibilities Maintain confidentiality in line with data protection legislation Follow infection prevention and control procedures Comply with health and safety policies (COSHH, fire safety, etc.) Promote a respectful and inclusive environment for patients and colleagues
