<p>Our client, a major UK retail bank, provides every day banking services to over 17 million retail customers. The banks expertise and services span across Business Services, Corporate banking, Wealth Management, Group Functions, Retail and Investment Banking.<br /><br />On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a <strong>Delivery Lead</strong> for a 6 month contract based in Edinburgh or London working on a hybrid model (1 day per week on site).</p> <p><strong>Purpose of the role:</strong><br />Join us to lead the evolution of our real-time data and event capabilities, powering smarter, faster, more personalised customer experiences. As the <strong>Delivery Lead</strong> for the ACE (Advanced Customer Engagement) Data & Events Working Group, you'll bring together experts from across Data, Digital and Architecture to deliver high impact change across our engagement ecosystem.</p> <p><strong>What you'll do:</strong></p> <ul> <li>As the Data & Events <strong>Delivery Lead</strong>, you'll oversee a portfolio of initiatives that enhance our event pipelines, modelling capabilities, and customer interaction data.</li><li>You will shape quarterly plans, coordinate cross functional SMEs, remove delivery blockers, and ensure clear governance through RAID management and SteerCo reporting.</li><li>Support the administration and coordination of our monthly Engagement Platforms SteerCo.</li><li>Drive key initiatives including event onboarding automation, next generation data pipelines, enhanced modelling capabilities, and the roll out of new customer engagement technologies.</li><li>Ensure all work aligns to ACE governance and delivery standards.</li><li>Publish new data products to the internal marketplace.</li><li>Define the target measurement framework.</li><li>Standardise tracking code implementation across journeys and channels.</li></ul> <p><strong>The skills you'll need:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Data engineering fundamentals, strong understanding of data pipelines, data products, and real-time data processing.</li><li>Strong understanding of event streaming technologies such as Kafka.</li><li>Familiarity with platforms like MIMO, Pega, and CDNA.</li><li>Awareness of tools such as Streamsets and CICS Liberty (desirable).</li><li>Proven ability to lead complex technical programmes from planning through to delivery.</li><li>Confidence managing quarterly roadmaps, dependencies, and cross team alignment.</li><li>Strong RAID management skills with a proactive approach to escalation.</li><li>Experience coordinating SMEs across multiple domains (Data, Digital, Architecture, Customer)</li><li>Able to simplify complex technical topics.</li><li>Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills at all levels.</li></ul> <p><strong>Next steps</strong></p> <p>This client will only accept workers operating via an Umbrella or PAYE engagement model.</p> <p>If you are interested in applying for this position and meet the criteria outlined above, please click the link to apply and we will contact you with an update in due course.</p> <p>AMS, a Recruitment Process Outsourcing Company, may in the delivery of some of its services be deemed to operate as an Employment Agency or an Employment Business</p>
