Job summary

<p><strong>Business Analyst - MiFID 2 Product Governance - sought by investment bank based in London - Contract - Hybrid</strong></p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into business and functional requirements, engaging closely with Legal, Compliance and Front Office stakeholders.</li><li>Conduct gap analysis on current-state MiFID II Product Governance processes, identifying enhancements across controls, systems and reporting.</li><li>Develop and propose solution options, leading them through governance and approval processes.</li><li>Define and document new or updated governance, reporting, policies and procedures.</li><li>Improve BAU processes and operational controls across the product lifecycle.</li><li>Perform data analysis to support decision-making and impact assessments.</li><li>Support the project manager with PMO standards, delivery tracking, and preparation of steering/working group materials.</li><li>Assist in the facilitation of UAT where required.</li></ul> <p><strong>Required Skills &amp; Experience</strong></p> <ol> <li><strong>10&#43; years' Business Analysis experience within Investment Banking.</strong></li><li>Proven experience delivering regulatory change within either: <ul> <li><strong>MiFID II Product Governance</strong>, or</li><li><strong>FCA Consumer Duty</strong></li></ul> </li><li>Strong track record across legal interpretation, impact assessment, solution design, and handover to BAU.</li><li>Extensive collaboration experience with Front Office, Business Management, Legal and Compliance teams.</li><li>Excellent communication skills-written, verbal and stakeholder-facing.</li><li>Advanced proficiency in <strong>Excel</strong> (data analysis), <strong>PowerPoint</strong>, and <strong>Visio</strong> (process modelling).</li><li>Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail.</li><li>Some project management background is desirable.</li></ol> <p><strong>Preferred Skills</strong></p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of <strong>MiFID II Investor Protection</strong>, including Costs &amp; Charges and Inducements.</li><li>Understanding of <strong>PRIIPs</strong> regulatory requirements.</li><li>Professional Business Analysis qualifications (e.g., BCS, IIBA).</li><li>Experience working within a large global banking environment.</li></ul> <p><strong>Please apply within for further details - Matt Holmes, Harvey Nash</strong></p> <p><br /></p> <p></p> <p></p> <p></p> <p></p> <p></p> <p></p> <p></p> <p>Always use these settings</p> <p></p> <p></p> <p></p>
